To extend your loofah’s life:

1. Soak for 5–10 minutes in a mix of 90% water and 10% bleach, then rinse and air-dry, or

2. Place in the washing machine on a cold or low-heat cycle.
   When finished, chop up your loofah and place it in your compost or green bin—it will return to the earth naturally.
